I received an email early this morning from a long lost reader of OOV, Agent of Chaos, who posts from the occupied territory of Arizona.
He shared something with us that we thought will start the day off just right for anyone over 50:
A senior citizen was giving a lecture at a community college when a freshmen starts to heckle him on why it was impossible for the older generation to understand his generation.
“You grew up in a different world, one that was almost primitive.”, the student yelled, trying to embarrass him. “We grew up with television, jet planes, computers, nuclear energy, cell phones and so much more.”
After a brief silence the older gentleman responded with this:
“You’re right son. We didn’t have those things when we were young, so we invented them. Now, you arrogant little sh*t, what’s going to be your legacy for the next generation?”
Enjoy and feel free to pass it along.
