Ingraham: Lynch Attempted to Subvert the Law

SECRET MEETING WITH BILL CLINTON
WAS EITHER MALICIOUS OR STUPID

LIFEZETTE — LifeZette Editor-in-Chief Laura Ingraham railed against Loretta Lynch and Bill Clinton’s private — and allegedly spontaneous — Monday meeting on Wednesday night.

The meeting was highly unusual, as the FBI, a subagency of Lynch’s Justice Department, is currently investigating Hillary Clinton for possible criminal wrongdoing as part of her ongoing email scandal.

That the two met in a private, unscheduled meeting suggests either “a brazen effort to undermine U.S. law” or a stunning level of aloofness — and stupidity — Ingraham said in an appearance on “On the Record with Greta Van Susteren” on Fox News.

Whether or not the meeting was held in regard to Hillary Clinton’s legal issues is actually irrelevant, Ingraham said. Ingraham noted that the meeting gave “at the very least the appearance of impropriety.”

When host Greta Van Susteren wondered how Clinton and Lynch “could be so tone deaf,” Ingraham noted it echoes Clinton’s “stupid” behavior regarding his affairs while in office. “It shows you how disconnected they are from public perception,” Ingraham said.

“The appearance of a conflict [of interest] can be just as damaging and poisonous to a case at times than … an actual conflict,” Ingraham said. “The last thing [the Justice Department needs] is any further undermining of the objectivity of this investigation.”
